PORTA 1 – 5 is compatible with the Swiss-German Sign Language DSGS. With PORTA 1 & 2 the 200 most frequently used basic vocabulary signs are available, with PORTA 3, 4 and 5 300 thematic vocabulary signs. Of course, they can be used tangibly under the hand, i.e. “tactilely”, or “visually” like signs otherwise. PORTA LIS is connectable to the Lingua dei segni italiana LIS and still in development with our partner, DeafBlind Inclusion. With PORTA 1 LIS, the first 100 basic vocabulary signs have been published in 2022. Of course, they can be used tangibly under the hand, i.e. “tactilely”, or “visually” like signs otherwise.
